How to Manage Your Medications, Supplements & Pharmacy Info in the Patient Portal

This step-by-step guide walks you through everything you need to know to keep your chart current and request prescription refills efficiently.

How to Enter Your Medications
Accurate medication records help us avoid interactions and ensure your treatment is effective. To enter your medications:

Log in to your Patient Portal.

Click “My Medications” on the right-hand menu.

Click the “+ Add Medication” button.

Enter details:

Medication name
-
Dose and frequency
-
Route (oral, topical, injectable, etc.)
-
Reason for use
-

Click “Save” to add it to your chart.
Tip: Don’t worry if you don’t know every field—enter what you can and update it later.
How to Add Your Supplements
Supplements are part of your treatment plan and should be documented in your chart. To add them:

Click “My Supplements” in the portal menu.

Select “+ Add Supplement.”

Input the name, dose, and how often you take it.

Click “Save.”
Including your supplements helps us identify interactions and customize your care.
How to Update Your Pharmacy
It’s important to keep your preferred pharmacy on file to avoid delays with prescriptions. Here’s how to update it:

Go to “My Pharmacies” in the portal.

Click “+ Add Pharmacy.”

Type the name of your pharmacy and choose it from the dropdown list.

Click “Save.”
If you use multiple pharmacies, be sure to mark your preferred one.
How to Request Prescription Refills
Need a medication refill? The fastest way is through the portal:

Go to “My Medications.”

Find the medication and click “Request Refill.”

Add a quick note, such as:
-
“Send refill to my usual pharmacy.”
-
“Please use my updated pharmacy in the portal.”

Click “Submit.”
- If you click the Green Arrow on the right side of the medication it will show you the details of the prescription, when it was sent, and to which pharmacy. Reviewing this information saves a lot of questions about the status of your medications and refills.
We require a 72-hour advanced notice for Refills. They are typically processed within 2–3 business days.
